The Importance of Coaches Across the English Football Pyramid

Late last season, we worked alongside the Pro Coach Partnership to deliver a short film for the LMA Annual Awards. The film highlights the importance of coaches across the English football pyramid, as well as the collective investment from Game Partners in developing these great coaches.
Our storytelling narrative was linked to the simple idea that, as fans, we’re all familiar with ‘the moments’ in professional football - last-minute winners, epic penalty saves, ultimate comebacks - but how about the moments behind the moments?
That’s where the Pro Coach Partnership comes in. Great players need great coaches, and behind every coach is a hugely influential coaching ecosystem that largely goes unnoticed.
It felt only fitting that the opening Premier League fixture sees Arsenal take on Coventry City, bringing together two key voices that feature throughout the film - Frank Lampard, who reflects from a coach's perspective, and Myles Lewis-Skelly, who speaks on the influence coaches have in the development of players.
