Spotlight Sports Group Appoints MatchFit to Support Racing Post's 40th Birthday Celebrations

MatchFit has been appointed as the sole UK communications agency by Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a global media and technology company setting the standard for customer-driven experiences across racing and sports betting.

With a portfolio of brands that includes Racing Post, Pickswise, myracing and Free Super Tips, MatchFit will support Spotlight Sports Group’s 2026 audience growth ambitions.

MatchFit’s first activity with the Spotlight Sports Group team was part of a coordinated effort to celebrate Racing Post’s 40th anniversary, a milestone that provides a unique opportunity to showcase the brand’s heritage and continued innovation across the racing and sports betting landscape. 

The wider scope involves raising awareness, building credibility, and amplifying the understanding of Spotlight Sports Group’s B2B proposition amongst current and prospective global partners and stakeholders, delivered through an integrated PR strategy. In addition, MatchFit is providing campaign and consultancy support aligned to Spotlight Sports Group’s consumer business. 

Spotlight Sports Group joins MatchFit South’s expanding client portfolio which already includes Topps, Manchester City, LALIGA, MatchWornShirt, The FA and Powerleague, drawing on the team’s proven expertise in sports, media, and communications to deliver audience-first campaigns that drive demonstrable impact.
