53 purple seats. 53 women. 53 years since England Women lifted the inaugural Women's Cricket World Cup.

Ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup kicking off this week, we’ve teamed up with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to recognise 53 women who are shaping the future of cricket today, unveiling 53 purple seats at the venue of Friday’s opener, the iconic Edgbaston.

From World Cup winner and ACE Programme founder Ebony Rainford-Brent MBE, to grassroots trailblazers like Ayesha Rauf who has built the women and girls pathway at Llandaff Cricket Club from scratch, each purple seat tells a story that goes far beyond the boundary.

It's a brilliant reminder that cricket is built by so much more than what happens on the pitch. Coaches, volunteers, community leaders, broadcasters, officials - women from all backgrounds changing the game everyday across all levels.

We're enormously proud to have lead on this integrated campaign that turns one of cricket's great stadiums into a living celebration of the people who make the game what it is.
